I use the Lunatics_Win32_v0.38 app.
seti@home_enhanced works fine, but i dont get any WUs for astropulse.
01.07.2011 19:36:20 | SETI@home | No tasks are available for the applications you have selected
01.07.2011 19:36:20 | SETI@home | No tasks are available for Astropulse v5
01.07.2011 19:36:20 | SETI@home | No tasks are available for Astropulse v505

my account settings:
Run only the selected applications
Astropulse v5: yes
Astropulse v5.05: yes

Is the HD5770 not able to compute these WUs?
Or what else do i need to setup?

My PC: PhenomII X4-945, HD5770, 4GB DDR2, WindowsXP(32bit)

The problem is the AP splitters are offline. As your messages say, no work available for Astropulse v505. The only AP work going out right now are resends from people either timing out or making mistakes and there are very few of them.

It is not your settings, AP work is just a little sparse right now.

You may have to wait for many days to get any AP work. Maybe you'll get one or two, maybe not.

Edit: One AP splitter is now running, as well as some AP assimilators. There's light at the end of the tunnel. Expect some AP work to come down the line

That's Five AP spliters running now, ;-)

YAYYYY

I was just going to brag a little about managing to snag one of the resends but.... The fun part is it is slated for my NVIDIA GPU. I guess I will see how badly I can mess up Raistmer's new beta app with this one.

Please let us know how it gets on....
The kitties would luv to see AP running on their NV GPUs.
And the APs must be going out now, as the Cricket graph has maxxed out again.

That means i better do not wait because there are never enough WUs??
But how do others get enough WUs für 20.000 or more credits per Day?

At the moment also the "enhanced" WUs (multibeam?) are missing.

I think it was a bad idea to buy an Ati, especially HD5770 which i cannot use for Milkyway instead and other scientific projects for Ati are very rare :(

The 5770 isn´t bad.
A little noisy maybe.

You can crunch MBs without any problems.
Got 1300 on friday.

And 6000 APs ready to send.

You're got to set your preferences so you're only asking for Astropulse_v505 and your ATI cache is empty enough to be asking for work,
and make sure you disable ATI work fetch from any other ATI projects you may be running, (you'll only fill your cache with other projects work otherwise)
every 5 minutes Boinc can ask for work here, Since you're running Boinc 6.12.26 you might need to give it a helping hand by clicking update every now and again,

If i manage to get a few more AP Wu, I'll refit my HD5770, and get most of my AP Wu's resent to it,

I got a passive cooled, no noise, only 2 120mm-Case-Fans @ 900 U/Min. :)

Yes, but often the performance seems to be very low at these WUs.
It takes more time then on my old Geforce9600GT for the same creditlevel

When i try 2 WUs at the same time, its a little bit better. But working at the PC is like an old Pentium@200Mhz ;)

Some WUs are ready after 5 Minutes and give me 30 credits, but the most run more then an hour und bring me about 100 Credits.

@Claggy: Ok, than i try to empty my heap of collatz-WUs and wait again.

The GF8500GT I use at work to crunch with was originally passively cooled. Which this would normally be OK for the card with normal use I guess. With 24/7 use the GPU would run up over 80ºC. Adding a 60mm fan at 5v now has the card peaking around 57ºC. with no added noise.
