As the splitters, and a number of other services, s "disabled" it means that the staff took some action,

Or something just crapped out & that was the result.
They should be back in to sort it out in a few hours.

Yes, I don't remember seeing them (or the AP Assimilators) online since the Scheduler came back up from the outage.

Cheers.

Did I miss it or did the upload server just go offline?

Here's hoping that the current problems are resolved quickly and with a minimum of fuss, have had no work for a few days i might temporarily have to fold for the dark side :-)

Things were chugging along OK, but now uploads don't want to go through.

Things lately almost reminds me of how it was before the big outage... Anyhow, seems there's constant one problem or another.

Well, it's slowly trickling in MB work, but everything AP seems to be pretty much dead in the water.

Looks as if my idea of AP only for my ATI Q8200, GPU as well as CPU, is falling apart for the moment. I have to accept MB for both the GPU and CPU for now. Maybe in the future I will have better luck with AP only.

I had 150 AP tasks in progress and today magically, a few of them just up and vanished. They were completed, waiting on valid and just ninja vanished. Sad day.

Yes, no stable AP production since almost 3 weeks.
With all the server hiccups its not easy for stable production.

I don't want to jinx things, but it looks like i might actually be able to finally fill my cache.
Downloads are still a bit iffy- they often just stop mid-stream for no apparent reason. Selecting "Network activity suspended" then re-enabling it generally gets them going again. Uploads are going through without assistance & i'm not getting any time out errors when contacting the Scheduler- been no need to manually use the Update button at all.

*fingers crossed*

So close, so close!
My cache almost filled up, then we ran out of tapes to split.

It would seem that 3 of you machines have tasks downloaded and in progress as of 11:35 UTC today.

There's hope, the AP splitters are back on and the ready to sends are climbing fast.

Well, it's taken several days but my cache has finally filled up. Several more days & the crunchers with larger caches should be just about full, then the servers might get a bit of a break.

If we now please would refrain from mentioning the name of that yellow waterbird, then perhaps we could keep this running at least over the weekend

You're waiting for your wingmen to complete their tasks, they could be running with bigger caches, so turn around times are longer,
