Just got back from my Eye Dr. Every thing is in order and healing nicely. Im starting the weening process from the Prednisolone and using up the little Vigamox I have left.
I did the testing for my new glasses for work. My uncorrected eye is 20/30, A nice improvemnet from 20/50. I can see things better with my new left eye, than with the right old one:) My next and last check up is in November. just to see if everything is healed up.

So now that I know what to expect,When the Dr. says it time for the right eye to be done I wont hesitate to do it. So I guess that ends my adventure. Thanks to all who gave me support and Mark for paving the way. Jim

You are welcome, Jim...and congrats on the improvement. You may notice it get even a little better as the healing progresses.

I had the final Lasik on my right eye almost 2 weeks ago. Done with the drops now, and the doc says everything seems to be a-ok. A little haziness yet, and of course with my old work specs, things are a bit messed up because the eye has changed.
But a several of months of healing (it can take 1-6 months for the eye to fully stabilize) I should be finally able to get a new scrip that matches my new eyes.
I already am pretty much free of glasses at home now. My left eye has come in very nicely and I have no reason to believe that my right will not do the same.

It's been a long journey, I can deal with the old work glasses for a few more months.

Glad it is working for you as well, Jim.

Very happy kitty indeed. After being almost blind in one eye for over a year? Meow!!!

Just allow the slow healing process to take it's course before you try to get your glasses scrip changed. I am sure your eye doc will advise.
