I own 3 GTX460 and one GTX560TI on GTX460 I saw no probleme using NVIDIA driver 266.58 and Lunatics_Win32v0.37_AP505r409_AKv8b_Cudax32f BUG: on GTX560TI with NVIDIA driver 275.33 and lunatics_Win32v0.37_AP505r409_AKv8b_Cudax32f, the GPU was only 40 degré while crunching WU and GPU-Z_ASUS_ROG_0.5.3 report a frequency of 440mhz instead of 880mhz ! even on my old 9800GT crunching results were better than on my new FERMI GTX560TI card. Maybe this BUG is related to the new CUDA compute capabilities in the NIDIA serie of driver 27xxx ! SOLUTION: I install the oldest NVIDIA driver 266.66 compatible with my GTX560TI and it's work fine full speed all time now ! |

It looks like GTX 560Ti and GTX 460 together won't work. Alone 560Ti looks working. When GTX 560Ti and GTX 460 are in computer, i can't disable secondary GTX 460.... |

This BUG is related to the new CUDA compute capabilities in the NVIDIA series of driver 27xxx ! Now i use 266.77 and it looks much better - still only on 560Ti, in the evening i will add GTX 460 to the second PCIe slot. I don't understand how can some people use driver 27xxx and have correct results on 560Ti. |

I saw that the half speed BUG on GTX560TI (440mhz instead of 880mhz) in case of manual overclock (factory default speed is 880mhz) is not really corrected with use of the oldest NVIDIA compatible driver 266.66 And previous driver 266.58 is not working on GTX560 but is ok on GTX460 Since I realize that, i dont overclock at all my GTX560TI and reboot the PC to restore a real 880mhz speed my GTX560TI is a twin froz II modele from MSI capable to run at 1,1Ghz !! I hope that some one will fix that bug so i will be able to use the full power of that recent GPU with a good overclock for crunching !! |

Falcon, Be patient. The newest offering from Lunatics seems to have cured the down clocking problem. It is still in Beta right now to fix a couple of bugs but should be ready in about a week. PROUD MEMBER OF Team Starfire World BOINC |

So my Gigabyte OC 560 Ti is generating hundreds of nonvalid WUs(sometimes error WUs). Tried 266.66 and 266.77. With 27x.xx it fails after 1-5% of computing always. I don't know what to do with this problem. But Collatz project is generating validated WUs. GPU HW looks good, no artifacts in games or in GPU tests (OCCTPT). |

It looks, that i have partially solved the problem with 275.33 drivers: I have in computer GTX 560Ti (gigabyte core/mem 900/4000) and GTX 460(zotac 810/4000). I have also detected BUG on 560Ti which halves core speed to 405Mhz. When it is on 405Mhz it correctly computes cuda_fermi WUs. So i tried to clock 560Ti to 810/4000 - and.. WUs are computed correctly now! :-) Very interesting... |

I' ve done the same. I set the clock (of Gigabyte GTX560 Ti with core clock at 900Mhz) to 850Mhz and cuda_fermi application seems to work fine, with 275.33 nVidia driver. It only uses 85-90% of GPU (gpu_load) but seems to be stable |

I tried this using an optimized version o seti (Lunatics) and works fine too. |

BUG on 560Ti which halves core speed to 405Mhz looks that is caused by CUDA, not only seti@home project. Which app is better(faster..:) ??? setiathome_6.10_windows_intelx86__cuda_fermi.exe or Lunatics_x32f_win32_cuda30_preview.exe |

Core speed is stable (more than 24H) at 850.5MHz. Comparing the two version of seti lunatics version is slightly faster. |

BUG on 560Ti which halves core speed to 405Mhz looks that is caused by CUDA, not only seti@home project. 13G, you and ttbroker may want to visit the numbers crunching forum. The new Lunatics v0.38 installer has been released to the public and is quite a bit faster than the old V 0.32. It also has some fixes for the 275.33 driver problems but may not cure the problem with the 560ti. That you will have to work out for yourselves though it sounds like you have found your own work around. PROUD MEMBER OF Team Starfire World BOINC |

I don't think it is a BUG or it caused by CUDA. The GTX560 reduces core speed when it is idle or partly used. Core speed is 50MHz!!! when the PC is idle. It is 405MHz when the PC is used as a common desktop PC (without boinc projects). |

Thank you very much for Lunatics v0.38! This is best optimized app for CUDA. (but unfornutaly GTX560Ti on stock speed(900Mhz) is causing errors in WUs, underclocked produced validated WUs) - on my 560Ti at stock is everything OK(CUDA MemTest 0.50a,MemtestG80,OCCT) On GTX 560Ti are 3 performance profiles - Idle(50Mhz),Save(405Mhz),Power(900Mhz). Switching between profiles is working automatically, but after or while using BOINC it hangs on Save(405Mhz) profile and is NOT going to Idle(50Mhz) or to Power(900Mhz) profile. It is simply always locked on 405Mhz profile... while playing games or computing CUDA... Only way to fix this is reboot computer or disable/enable card in device manager in control panel of the windows.(with black monitor with shortcuts on keyboard) I have also GTX460 card in the second PCIe and it is doing the same. |

My GigaByte 560 TI OC to 900 needs a 1.0375V to get it work without any problems. So that depends from one GPU to another, no one GPU-as are same. I am cruncher :) I LOVE SETI BOINC :) |

Thank you very much for Lunatics v0.38 Lunatics_x32f_win32_cuda30_preview.exe → Lunatics_x38g_win32_cuda32.exe Lunatics v0.38 is CUDA is + 50% faster than before. CUDA real power from former 50W new 75 W at + 50% increased Memory Controller load from the old 40% new 60% + 50% increased Increase in amount of power from GPU low-power mode (approx. 5 W) ( GV-N560OC-1GI ) 810MHz@0.962V, operation when idle 50W, old CUDA 100 W, new CUDA 125 W OCCT 170 W 900MHz@1.025V, operation when idle 58W, old CUDA 115 W, new CUDA 145 W OCCT 200 W OCCT bench work at 100% capacity if yet 63% of capacity But I'm made of Q9650 6 x performance GTX560Ti @ 810 MH z even from Watt performance is 4 times GPU cards hang or Save (405 Mhz), WU does not end until 100% is Or lowering the clock should raise VDDC voltage. |

Issue 405 MHz If the original error out extreme overclocking,I fixed to 405 MHz clock. Seems it's a system to avoid danger from safe mode. 405 MHz clock confirmed OCCT or video player. Overclocked model or GV-N560OC-1GI comes from the stable operating range setting Seems to be slightly off the point. In the heavy loads of OCCT and seti @ CUDA extreme State to stable operation in continuous to Clock with relatively low or high voltage is required. And only to slow down to settle on the software. |

Thank you very much! It looks, it helps: higher VDDC voltage for stability (using MSI Afterburner): 1.025 V @ 900 MHz or 1.037 V @ 900 MHz |
