OK.. Had a machine running fine. put a new 470 in so I let my cache run out and detached from seti. installed the card installed the latest drives. reattached and let the machine run a bit. runs fine with stock app. emptied the cache and installed lunatics.. in the options went for sse4.1 (as it was before the card install) machine id is 5515081 someone will have to help me make this a link. anyways then i get this crap.. look near the bottom. cant find the application.. any help would be greatly appreciated

Are you sure you got the 64 bit lunatic's package? It looks like it is looking for the 32 bit files.

First Boinc see the App_info.xml file (in red) so it is expecting to find something by about files by a certain name (Lunatics).

Next (in blue) show in the client_stat.xml after the still contains the links to the Seti Stock applications as the intialization run of a single WU has not been completed. It is blocked by the app_info.xml file from downloading.

Finally the scheduler had no work for you.

Suggest that you stop boinc, remove the app_info.xml file and after restarting boinc that you do a Project Reset. This will get the stock files and clear the references in the client_state.xml then reinstall Lunactics.

gonna try that but... this machine has been running for the last 2 weeks on stock apps. this I knew I had to do to init the stock apps. then i drained my cache and installed lunatics. oddly enough the machine downloaded 2 gpu WU's ans is running them both now. weird.

Are you sure you were ever running SSE 4.1 on that machine? From what I remember, the Q6600 doesn't support it (my only Q6600 isn't in a machine right now, so can't double check). Also, looking at an old pending of yours, I see this in the stderr:
Version info: SSSE3x (Intel, Core 2-optimized v8-nographics) V5.13 by Alex Kan
SSSE3x Win64 Build 76 , Ported by : Jason G, Raistmer, JDWhale

So I think you don't want to use SSE 4.1 on that system.

Yupp, no SSE 4.1 with the Q6600:

This setting is something else you may want to increase also. ;)

And personally I wouldn't combine a Fermi card with an older generation card.

Cheers.

Well.. I am humbled. I of all people should have caught that the q6600 - no 4.1 . Thank you to all for catching this.

WIGGO: THE 25% load is for th daily driver and the terminal server.. any other machines (like the one in question) get the "run always" treatment. and so far the 2 cards are playing nice together, run times from when they were seperate are the same as now. I will soon however get another dedicated crucher and will seperate the various cards ( and get another 460).
