Yeah, so I've noticed that the number of results for each computer under my account is actually losing results. Yesterday one of them said that it had crunched like 202 of them while today it's down below 200. And not to long ago that was up at like 230 or so. Anyway, is that number supposed to go up and down? I'm not seeing any decrease in my credit, but I thought that was curious and was wondering if anyone else had noticed a decrease in their accounts as well. -------------------------------------------------

Searching for New Life and New Civilizations... |

The results have been assimilated. (Data from validated results is placed in the SETI@home master database for later analysis.) |

Deletes those records from the database." The DB Purger "purges workunit and result records that are no longer needed from the database". Most likely the DB Purger was started last week, and is slowly archiving old wu. Note, only "done" wu is archieved, meaning wu either passed validation or too many error-results, and there all results is accounted for or passed deadline. All the wu stuck with example 3 results "pending validation" for some months isn't being purged, so will still show up. It looks like the result-overview is sorted after result-id, this means if someone got error/passed deadline a much higher result-id was generated for the re-issuing. It looks like the purger started at wu-id 1, so a fairly "new" result for you can be purged before some older results. ;) |
