Can anyone explain why I come up with three different credit totals for SETI? Any will they ever be in sync? My take: Account bottom of page: Last (daily) time the account was updated in the database (a specific field in the DB). Account total credit: Current total credit (includes additions since last "Account bottom of page"). BOINC Manager - I don't know where he gets this number from...it may be what "Account total credit" was last time BOINC mgr asked for it or was sent it (so is intermediate betwen the two above). |

The total seen in the BOINC Manager is behind because it is the total when the computer contacted Berkeley, and doesn't include the additional credits that may have been added for that report. If the computer contacts Berkeley and all reported tasks go to the pendings or it is only a request for work with no reporting then the Web page and the Manager will agree. Bottom of page total is as the last Stats update, usually approx midnight UTC. |
