This downtime each week finds my computer sitting idle for days on end. Can we change the preferences to load more work so that it keeps grinding away even when they shut down the servers????

Thanks,
Paul

yes. just head to your account page click on seti@home preferences then change the "additional days of work" to 4 days. that should be enough to keep your machine busy for 4 days or more.
