Yes and yes ;-) Do you already have created an account at MilkyWay? If yes, attach to MilkyWay as "returning user", otherwise as "new user". I don't know MilkyWay myself, so I don't know if they have CPU-only tasks. If so, you might have to deselect using your CPU at the MilkyWay project preferences. Milkyway requires a double precision GPU. I don't think the 5770 is. Collatz is probably the only fully functioning GPU project for a single precision GPU. You may want to check into DNETC as well. the Lunatics guys have produced a Hybrid optimized app that utilizes your GPU to run Astropulse WU's if and when you get them. Hi, can i run seti@home and milkyway@home under my one boinc account?, and can i run seti@home on the cpu while running milkyway@home just on my ati 5770? Each project requires a separate account. You should use the same email address at bot in order to allow stats sites to join them together. Yes, you can have tasks from different projects running on the CPU and the GPU. You can also have tasks from different projects running on different GPUS (if you have more than one GPU) and you can have tasks from different projects running on different CPUs on a multi CPU rig. NOTE that BOINC does the assignment of tasks to resources, you cannot do this directly (other than the CPU/GPU split which is done by disallowing GPU from one project and CPU from the other on the project web site). your GPU should be able to handle the Astropulse hybrid app for seti from Lunatics. you can also run Collatz@home and DNETC@home. In a rich man's house there is no place to spit but his face. Diogenes Of Sinope |

It Looks like they only use CUDA Just like seti. Which would make sense since Einstein is based on Seti work In a rich man's house there is no place to spit but his face. Diogenes Of Sinope |
