My patience is exhausted
Good luck to all you crunchers who stay on
It's a shame, but I can see no end to the problems and I dread to think that the same may be happening in analysing the data we have collected.

Sorry to see you go Keith, work has just started flowing so you may want to give it just a little bit longer.

I feel the same way as Keith.

I waited patiently as I ran out of work during the planned outage last week. I waited patiently as we were limited to 20 workunits since the planned outage on the understanding that the pipes would be opened up ahead of the next outage.

The second the pipes opened my queue started draining. I got down to 1 task per GPU and only downloading new work after one of the GPUs became idle. Now I have no work and I get the message "Project has no tasks available".

So wait patiently and you get nothing. Whine like a baby because your "kitties" have no work and you'll be taken care of.

Judging by the amount of whining here lately, nobody is being "taken care of".

LOL...
My friend, the kitties are in the same waiting line as you are.

And they are starting to get a little kibble in the bowls.

All three of my computers has filled up very well. I think it will last me through the outage even if I don't get any more work now.

I have enough work for the outage too. Just got a very large Astropulse WU. That will last me until after the outage. Also been getting and reporting work regularly.

Has not quite have my 4 days cache full. Problem is about 70% or so are vlars, so I'll run out of GPUs if I don't get some more of those...

btw just reached ½ mill I see :)

I have 329 work units. 171 of them vlars.... >_>

I need more GPU work but it keeps requesting CPU and GPU and gets more CPU than GPU.

Rescheduler can move the non-VLAR to your GPU...

Yeah, the problem i've found is when i do that i get -12 errors every so often. Since i've stopped using it to send work to GPU, and only use it for GPU to CPU i don't get -12's... quite weird.

I have 2 regular WUs left and the Astropulse. And its 3 days not 5. Also Astropulse takes quite a bit longer to crunch than a regular WU. Until I get the 2 regular WUs done, I probably won't be able to download anymore work until after the outage. I have no complaints.

This is what Reschedule says, so nothing to do.

Same over here.
The 45 GPU tasks will finish before the outage...
