SETI strikes again - I just got 8 d/l, but all are timed as 139:xx:xx - off by a factor of about 30. So, to those who ask, I say - it ain't fixed yet!!!!

Be happy that you have something to crunch on right now....
It does not surprise me that the Boinc bugs are not fixed yet.

Well, something HAS been added. Under Application Info, there is now an anonymous platform entry for Astropulse 5.05 that wasn't there before the outage.

Correct, they added that about 1 day into the outage. :)

Pewh! Uploaded 3,300+ Results. It's going faster than i thought.

Now waiting to download. Would be hard, because all CUDA Quota down to 100 (some -12 errors).

WOW...
I'm getting uploads done fairly smoothly, but not at that speed.

And that quota thingy still has to be addressed if it has not been corrected yet.

I have started several times the book "Don Quijote de la Mancha" by Miguel de Cervantes Saavedra [in Spanish language] but never got to the third chapter!!!
Once I found the book in Russian language and after a couple of sentences, I started to laugh out loud and quit!!!
Now I am reading the comic "Asterix and the Normans" in Russian--->"Астерикс и Норманны"

I agree. I'm uploading somewhat smooth now, but no where near that fast.

On every Rig i uploaded 20 Results at the same time.

Option set in cc_config: <max_file_xfers> and <max_file_xfers_per_project>

I only start every Rig once and let it run. :-)

your means to an end is no different than the folks that forced connections on their Firefox to over 30 at a time which typically flooded servers with connection requests. Its overkill and slows everyone else down.

I had two work units to upload and one has gone up so far. I think I am doing better than all of you because half my queue has already uploaded. Also If you look at the cricket graph, up and down traffic is almost equal. It used to be down traffic was about 3 or 4 times up traffic. Something appears to have been changed.

Still no new work. Still crunching World Community Grid

I didnt mean to sound angry just making a point. If we all did the same thing we'd pretty much overload an already overloaded system

Peace people. People run their own rigs in their own way, all with different learning curves, all with different habits. It's the way of humanity. I'm quite, quite sure the project is aware of it. Hey, you have to be to bang heads with humanity. Which is what Berkley chose to do with BOINC :)

Any one user affects the whole project, Heck, I'd pay to shake hands with that Superman, lol..
