Does anyone also do the sport/game of Geocaching as a secondary (or maybe primary) hobby?

Just FYI, on Geocaching.com, I also go by "Mike_B"; "only" have about 215 'caches found so far but working towards improving those numbers, too.

I used to geocache. I simply didn't have enough time though. Pretty ironic, is that the iPhone I bought can be used as a GPS unit to find them, but it was also designed to make my work more efficient.

I'm heading an idea at the Sicituradastra. BOINC team of placemarking every members location around the world currently.

Well - you provoked me Michael!

It was cold, wet and windy day yesterday, I was bored, so I went out looking for a geocache. Required an hour long walk, but it only took 5 minutes of searching. For now, the iPhone seems to do well as a GPS. Looks like it has an accuracy of around 3-5m.
I can't seem to find my old geocaching.com account, so I've registered a new one as "LukeSETI".

Cache was a regular camo container. GVC1AM and named "Life's A Beach" by Outward Bound. TNLN. Geocache Link

As a matter of fact, yes I do! LOL I do it when I can, I only have about 118 finds I think. Its been about 2 years since I've been able to do anything, just not enough time to do it. But, I love it, kids love it. I'm part of a group here called the Great Basin Eastern Sierra geocaching club. http://www.gbesgeo.org Great group of folks, if you ever come west to Nevada, look us up, lots of folks here that just love to have an excuse to go out cachin!

Well - It was such a beautiful day I decided to tie in some geocaching during work. Found 2 out of 3. Both had incredible views.

Also in the process of a simple multicache which is only a few miles from me.
