Whenever i try to get jobs firstly it says communication deferred then a countdown then when i look at the tasks and it says "downloading(suspended) " and i want it to process all the time, anyone help me?
got mac OSX 10.4
Please help ASAP

You should at least tell us why communication gets deferred. Best copy&paste a few lines around the error from your Messages tab here.

I do not know why, it just says that, no reason, do not even know what it means, and also, if you know, how do you get it to always process rather than the second you move your mouse it suspends it? have any answers to that?

Try setting "Run always" and "Network activity always available" in the Activity menu of BOINC manager (advanced view).

Also check your Computing preferences for the setting of "Suspend work while computer is in use?"

It's been a long time that I've used a Mac, but IIRC, there are menus there too. I'm not speaking of tabs (or how they are called on the Mac) but drop-down menus, like File, View, Tools, Activity, Advanced, Help.

Perhaps a Mac user can help out here with the terminology?
