	The History channel recently showed a 5 part TV series called Ancient Aliens. The TV show explores the possibility that maybe, in theory, advanced aliens visited planet earth thousands of years ago and put us humans here on earth. -------------- Watch the show! This Youtube user has uploaded the whole Ancient Aliens TV series to his channel if you want to watch it; http://www.youtube.com/user/NiChen87 . Each episode is in about 9 parts on Youtube and the total run time to watch all 5 shows is about 5 or 6 hours. ---------------- So, is this possible, that aliens came to earth and put humans here???? Well the TV show explores the possibility and suggests that we have tonnes of proof mixed into the many religions and religious books that have been written through out the ages. The Cristian Bible has some of the most outrageous stories every written, many of the stories would go down well with any person interested in science fiction. But the TV series suggests that maybe the Bible stories are actually primitive man's only way of describing the incredible things he was witnessing in real life. The show suggests that mankind, with very limited science knowledge, tried to write down and record what he saw. What do you guys think. Could the Bible stories be true? Maybe the people back then were seeing incredible things that they did not have the words to explain. Just a few days ago, Dr. Craig Venter announced that he had created the first synthetic life, a simple bacteria. He did this by creating the DNA of the bacteria in a computer. He coded the whole 1.2 million lines of the DNA code. Fast forward a few hundred years from now. Will us humans be seeding other planets with plants and animals and maybe humans because we have now cracked the DNA code? Did advanced aliens put us here on earth as a science experiment thousands of years ago and they have been interacting and monitoring us ever since? Are they coming back in December 12th 2012? Its funny, but if it were true, it would make perfect sense out of all the religions around the world. All the religions are very similar in many ways, they all claim similar things, similar type God's. Maybe they all describe the same thing. Could they all be wrong and we simply "evolved" from the apes. Evolution would mean all life on earth came from one common ancestor, the simplest living RND that formed. John. ____________

	The various religions are, IMHO, WRONG in so many things, and have been proven so, many times yet they persist and prevail due to human need and blind loyalty. Catholicism incarcerated Gallileo for daring to claim, with proof, that the sun was at the centre of our solar system. This contradicted the church "business" model and threatened their credibility in the eyes of the masses thus potentially impacting their earning potential and power grip. I am not an aetheist, far from it, as I truly believe there is reason to our being, but I have an inherent distrust of the hocus pocus pedalled by these so called reprentatives of God on earth, who are often hypocrital, corrupt and too worldly for my liking and IMHO are not to be trusted. I believe panspermia to be behind why we are here which doesn't answer where life ultimately started. I'll leave speculation on that topic to those on the forum better informed than me :) Anyway, I'm typing this on a Nokia N900 and the screen is appearing smaller by the minute. Later, on a proper PC screen!

	I really hate the History channel. Next they will make a documentary about how Alice in Wonderland is true. Hitler and the Nazis will of course be involved, and once again I will have to explain to people why, despite the fact that it's the HISTORY CHANNEL, which implies at least a modicum of TRUTH, it is in fact a giant load of crap. ____________

	As a matter of fact Galileo was never incarcerated, only confined to his villa on the Arcetri hill which now hosts a radiotelescope.I believe the true story of the Galileo process was narrated by Pietro Redondi, an Italian who lives in Paris, in his book "Galileo eretico".
