the other day i had a problem and recentley had to reformat,so i did that but now i seem to be having a problem with my WMP54g linksys wireless card, for some reason it says it can see my router but cant connect to the internet,Ive installed most recent drivers version 4.1 for xp since there is none for win 7 64 bit(it worked before so that cant be the problem)my laptop and my friends laptop can both connect to the router and get internet easily,so i am confused on what can be stopping it from seeing any internet |

When I set up the network I put in my password but it converted it into a long key. With my other laptops I was able to just put in the password I had used but for some reason on the new laptop I had to put the whole encrypted key in before the internet would work. When using just the password it would say connected with limited and no internet or something like that. Hope it helps. Official Abuser of Boinc Buttons... And no good credit hound! |

theres no password for the router its opened,so there's no password problem.and i know its not safe to not have a password but that's only for the city ,the closest house is out of wireless reach anyways |
