I'll say this now. As I probably won't post again for a week, but good luck with your eye. The hard truth is that YOU WILL have to have the surgery. YOU WILL have to shut some crunchers down, and YOU PROBABLY WILL have to save ALOT of money.

We all have our problems, I've got a left hand that is in constant pain. I type with one hand now. As you mention, you eventually get used to it. Your brain slowly phases the useless limb/eye/ear out until it feels slightly normal.

But you KNOW it is still there. Get the surgery. Don't wait for it to get worse.
