I had a very old Seti classic account. In August 2000 i created as boinc account and merged the credits. I have the email to the seti classic account, but not the boinc account created in august 2000. My name on that account and all info is the same as this account. Is there anyway of being able to use my old account again? Also, when i try to merge my old seti classic it says it's attatched to an active account. That's the boinc one i wish to use again. |

There's only one account for a user named "Fayvitt" registered at SETI (the one you are posteing from). Furthermore, I think that BOINC didn't start before 2003. Did you try the "Special instructions: For SETI@home Classic participants" on the SETI homepage? Gruß, Gundolf |

Account name is Deimos et Phobos, aka Festy Dreadnought. Created in August 2000. That account is/was mine, and has my old Seti attatched to it. I can't remember what my e-mail address for that account is, let alone the password. I only remember the seti classic account that is connected to it. UPDATE... I have my email address for my old account. That email address is no longer valid. I can't be sent a new password. I don't have the account key, as those hard drives are landfill somewhere. |

Account name is Deimos et Phobos, aka Festy Dreadnought. Created in August 2000. That account is/was mine, and has my old Seti attatched to it. I believe 5 Aug 2000 is the creation date of your SETI classic account, which you connected some years later to a BOINC account. But either way, you can't merge two BOINC accounts and can't reconnect a classic account to another BOINC account. UPDATE... I have my email address for my old account. That email address is no longer valid. I can't be sent a new password. I don't have the account key, as those hard drives are landfill somewhere. So, the only thing you can do now is to add SETI@home classic workunits 549 SETI@home classic CPU time 4,128 hoursto your signature, just as I did with my data.
