What a shame there isn't an option to ignore news about it in Google News.

50% of all the headlines on Google News Sci/Tech are about the iPad.

FYI Apple : I don't care about your latest 'creation' and anyway all these people raving about owning the first iPad won't be so happy when there $500 toy is made worthless a year later with the standard 'planned obsolescence' introduction of a new model.

I'm ordering the new protector for my IPad. It even has wings!

I can see how that would stop nicks and dings. But if it gets wet will it bloat?

I had to google 'ipad' to find out what the fuss was all about.

Still use a regular old cell-phone. Doesn't even have a built in camera.

Unfortunately, it will bloat but will automatically expel all fluids once a month. Apple does not recommend you use your Ipad while in a bloated condition, it can cause extreme data corruption that could lead to it doing anything but what you want. In rare circumstances it can drain your bank account, sell your car for one dollar, kick your cat in the head, make all your friends hate you and leave you penniless and homeless.

It's best to avoid your IPad as much as possible when in a bloated condition.

The iPad seems kinda pointless to me. Apple aren't even going to allow Macromedia Flash as I understand it, meaning that many of the websites I go to currently will have big blank bits where there is currently flash content.

What? It doesn't even have a headphone jack? LOL. Didn't know that...

That throws out the whole idea of listening to music privately on the go (I was thinking keep it in a work pack and have it running through to your ears.)

Wires?! You want wires?!! Bluetooth! Then you can listen while you wander to the loo. Or you can get those talking points beamed into your ear while everyone else just thinks it is from your crackberry.

I'd personally prefer wires. LOL.
I'd hate to imagine wireless headphones. IIcan imagine people dropping them down drains, cracks and crevices (or toilets for that matter). And it's more wireless energy being beamed into your head. No good news for you brain... LOL.

LOL. I just realised. 'macs' is actually 'scam' backwards. Something that makes perfect sense for once... :)

That is one hilarious video especially when he gets the iPad to "fit" the blender jug.
