Hi,
Whenever the upload performed and the Messages segment of BOINC reads: finished upload, the Work segment of BOINC keeps the WU and the Account in BOINC web page does not display the result.
We have to update the Projects segment in order to finalise the total upload.
So, a minor upgrade of 4.13 is necessary yet.

Thats the way it is supposes to work. When the low water mark is reached, BOINC finishes the upload.......

Uploading the result is a 2 part process. First the data is upload upon completion of the WU (or at the first opportunity if something is wrong with the network access). Then the result is reported (the report starts the generation of credit and validation). To get the result reported you can either update the WU manually, or you can wait for the first of: A successful work request (there doesn't have to be any work downloaded), 24 hours before the deadline for some WU in the list, or the completion of the WU if it completes after 24 hours before the deadline.

The result is only on the work page until it has been reported (second step). This can be done either manually (as you have been doing) or automatically (as I mostly do).
