There are 2 of my results that seem to show 3 valid pending credits claimed. I thought that when you had 3 valid claims then the middle claim was granted. Any idea why these are 'stuck'? Not sure how to link, but the WU is 26ap04aa.7733.19680.1047142.110 |

Click on 'Work Unit ID' and you will see, that it is separated into several parts. Only if the other users also have finished THEIR parts, the middle claim will be granted. I found this in 'BOINC getting startet': Please keep in mind: * There may be a delay of several days between when your computer reports a result and when it is granted credit for the result. Your User page shows you how much credit is 'pending' (claimed but not granted). * The credit-granting process starts when your computer reports a result to the server (not when it finishes computing the result or uploading the output files). * In rare cases (e.g. if errors occur on one or more computers) you may never receive credit for a computation. |

Please read my post fully, I know it is in 3 parts and I have said that all three parts are pending. (Also it was 12 days that the last one was returned, so don't say 'a few days' please.) :wink |

Ok, I'm sorry about that. But, would you please be so kind and tell me why you have 70 WU's 'In Progress' on your one and only computer? |

when the wu is downloaded you will have a deadline of 14 days. If the wu is not completed by the deadline you will not get credit for it. Set connect every 7 days and you will get about 14 days of work. Some of the wu's credit was lost in the database crash. Fred BOINC Alpha, BOINC Beta, LHC Alpha, Einstein Alpha |

Since 4.12 and 4.13 everything had been fine. |

Here is a link that shows such a problem: http://setiweb.ssl.berkeley.edu/workunit.php?wuid=2207085 Got some more of them. What happens? Copying and pasting the page address is about the easiest way for someone to see what you are talking about rather than the work unit name. I haven’t figured out how to create a link either. One of mine that seems to be having the same problem as yours is: - http://setiweb.ssl.berkeley.edu/workunit.php?wuid=2185992 Anthony |

Where it says ‘label’ change that to whatever you want to appear in your post, Link etc. (At the beginning I have had to remove the "" from the end to stop it showing as a link so you will have put them back.) a href="Paste web address here">label Anthony |

For what you where trying to do you need to enter them as " & l t ; " or " & g t ; " but without the quotes and spaces! < > Notice how when you quoted my message the < and > symbols where again treated (correctly) as tags and it converted my text into a link... |

At a guess (sorry that's all) I fear it may be one lost to the various problems that have been (seti) server-side... |

It is the same as all the others who have linked to theirs on here, all 3 results pending but nothing awarded. Validation state INITIAL |

> It is the same as all the others who have linked to theirs on here, all 3 > results pending but nothing awarded. If the validation state of the WU is "Initial" then it has not yet been looked at by the validator. If the last returned result is more than a few days old then I *very much* suspect that the transitioner has not flagged those results as ready to be validated. I have some in the same state, this one for example, where the last returned WU was 5th Aug - I doubt that we will get credit for these WU unless there is some 'human intervention'... |

I looked at WU <a href="http://setiweb.ssl.berkeley.edu/workunit.php?wuid=2207085" /> 2207085 (posted by srmurphy)... The only reason that I can see that it might not be going through is that 2 of them were calculated on core 4.09 and one on 4.05. This MIGHT prevent them from getting validated properly.. I don't really know... We need Rom or someone with some actual information to explain this properly, I think... |

Could be, but wouldn't be very nice. :-( > We need Rom or > someone with some actual information to explain this properly, I think... I think you are right. Maybe some of the Berkeley Team will find some time to give us more information about this "phenomenom".
