So I am installing BOINC on a remote host, through Remote Desktop Services, and I want it to keep running when I log off.

In the past I used to tick "install BOINC as a Service" in the installer but I cannot find the option with 6.10.18.

Forgive me if the question has already been answered n times in the forum but I could not locate the information using the search feature.

It is now called "Protected Mode" instead.

Be aware if you are wanting to use your video card and are on Vista or W7 it will not work in protected mode.

Thank you both for your replies.

BOINC is installed and chugging away in the background.

The option is cryptic in its description but it does make sense...once you know.
The system is an aging P4, so no CUDA goodness here :)
