There you go look at the version histories and there are fixes may be worth a shot.

Fusky, in your BIOS setup, are there any settings related to fan speed or "smart fan"? Somtimes just increasing the fan speed (or the threshold for speedup) will keep your temps down.

looked at the intel site and it says that the 920 base frequency is 2.66ghz and max frequency 2.93ghz,and i seem to be running at 2.8 ghz so i guess my temps should be norm since im also running asrock oc tunner.

if you can't get the idle temp down you may consider reapplying the thermalpaste and reseating the HSF

One of the problems with running any automatic "tuner" is that they automatically push up the volts with the overclock. The best effects are achieved by overclocking in the BIOS with a fixed voltage to control the temps.
Takes a little longer but gets better results and is far more satisfying in the long run.

CPU-Z is reporting my CPU is running at 1.008v. I think voltage is one of the settings I have left at auto in my bios.

That's what it should be at if your CPU is mostly idle. It will go up to around 1.2V when running at 100% load. Did you install a new cooler, or are we still talking about the stock heatsink/fan?

1.008v is my i7-860 running full tilt. HT on, Turbo Boost off, no OC, stock cooler. I have a plan for a new cooler once I get a proper medica pc case, or at least one what will fit into my entertainment center.
