Downloaded v4.13, however when 4.13 begins it downloads and runs v4.02 I doubt this should be happening. Here is the terminal window showing the download of 4.02: 2004-10-15 14:24:57 [http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/] Project prefs: using your defaults 2004-10-15 14:24:57 [http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/] Host ID not assigned yet 2004-10-15 14:24:57 [---] No general preferences found - using BOINC defaults 2004-10-15 14:24:57 [---] Running CPU benchmarks 2004-10-15 14:24:57 [---] Suspending computation and network activity - running CPU benchmarks 2004-10-15 14:25:58 [---] Benchmark results: 2004-10-15 14:25:58 [---] Number of CPUs: 2 2004-10-15 14:25:58 [---] 585 double precision MIPS (Whetstone) per CPU 2004-10-15 14:25:58 [---] 1790 integer MIPS (Dhrystone) per CPU 2004-10-15 14:25:58 [---] Finished CPU benchmarks 2004-10-15 14:25:59 [---] Resuming computation and network activity 2004-10-15 14:25:59 [---] Insufficient work; requesting more 2004-10-15 14:26:00 [---] Insufficient work; requesting more 2004-10-15 14:26:00 [http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/] Requesting 17280 seconds of work 2004-10-15 14:26:00 [http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/] Sending request to scheduler: http://setiboinc.ssl.berkeley.edu/sah_cgi/cgi 2004-10-15 14:26:00 [http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/] Scheduler RPC to http://setiboinc.ssl.berkeley.edu/sah_cgi/cgi succeeded 2004-10-15 14:26:00 [SETI@home] General preferences have been updated 2004-10-15 14:26:00 [---] General prefs: from SETI@home (last modified 2004-08-21 21:13:10) 2004-10-15 14:26:00 [---] General prefs: no separate prefs for home; using your defaults 2004-10-15 14:26:00 [SETI@home] Project prefs: no separate prefs for home; using your defaults 2004-10-15 14:26:00 [SETI@home] Started download of setiathome_4.02_powerpc-apple-darwin 2004-10-15 14:26:00 [SETI@home] Started download of 03mr04ab.2969.2130.436076.56 2004-10-15 14:26:01 [---] Insufficient work; requesting more 2004-10-15 14:26:01 [SETI@home] Requesting 34560 seconds of work 2004-10-15 14:26:01 [SETI@home] Sending request to scheduler: http://setiboinc.ssl.berkeley.edu/sah_cgi/cgi 2004-10-15 14:26:01 [SETI@home] Scheduler RPC to http://setiboinc.ssl.berkeley.edu/sah_cgi/cgi succeeded 2004-10-15 14:26:01 [SETI@home] Message from server: Not sending work - last RPC too recent: 1 sec 2004-10-15 14:26:01 [SETI@home] No work from project 2004-10-15 14:26:01 [SETI@home] No work from project 2004-10-15 14:26:01 [SETI@home] Deferring communication with project for 10 minutes and 0 seconds 2004-10-15 14:26:01 [SETI@home] Deferring communication with project for 10 minutes and 0 seconds 2004-10-15 14:26:03 [SETI@home] Finished download of 03mr04ab.2969.2130.436076.56 2004-10-15 14:26:03 [SETI@home] Throughput 124481 bytes/sec 2004-10-15 14:26:07 [SETI@home] Finished download of setiathome_4.02_powerpc-apple-darwin 2004-10-15 14:26:07 [SETI@home] Throughput 166610 bytes/sec 2004-10-15 14:26:07 [SETI@home] Starting result 03mr04ab.2969.2130.436076.56_2 using setiathome version 4.02 |

The client downloads an application for every project, in your case the seti app. Client and application are two different programs, they don't need to have the same version number. KEINE PANIK |

Yes, BOINC is version 4.13 but the actual setiathome application it runs is version 4.02. The latter can be found in the setiathome.berkeley.edu folder within the BOINC projects folder. Hope this helps. |
