seti is dry... like 10 gallons of water in the tank's downstairs but we don't have the ability to bring them up until next week.

I recommend Secunia PSI: http://secunia.com/vulnerability_scanning/personal/
Go Georgia Tech.

I think this is a good time to state this point...

The goal here is to remember that the SETI@home project or staff never promised a continous and ample flow of work from the servers.

This is why it is always good to have a backup project such as MW, Einstein, or PrimeGrid :)

I've looked at some of the other projects but my cuda card is too slow for them.

So it's Seti or nothing for me.

Sounds like a good motto!

You don't have to run your GPU, or you can embrace a compromise, run your GPU at S@H and your CPU at another project. I have both CPU & GPU, however I only choose to crunch with the CPU.

Yup, I just busted all my dunnies,
A lot of dust builds up in them in only fore months since i last blew them away,
err, thats using compressed air not something else with a hole in the end,
Ok, i admit, it i keep a list of when and what `things` get `done`.

I don't have any cuda cards and access all programs via dial up internet. I run a number of other projects. Milky Way, Einstein, Spinhenge, Enigma, World Community Grid and even some Rosetta in additon to Seti. I think I've established a respectable showing in all of them, even without a cuda graphics card. Give one or more of them a try. I'm sure any of the BOINC projects would be happy to have you as a participant.

Regards,
Zen
