Message 940155 - Posted: 15 Oct 2009, 14:18:27 UTC

I have decided to set up the network access for my boxes to limit access to 4 times per day. Say at 0900, 1500, 2100, 0300 and each time for 1 hour.

I use the web based preference settings and cannot figure out how to do this or if it is even possible.

Any help please would be appreciated.

AFAIK, it's not possible. You can only enter one interval.

It is possible, but not through BOINC settings.

Use the BOINC command line and windows scheduled tasks...

Thanks for the info John. I had not thought of that and I'll look into it.

Thanks for the info John. I had not thought of that and I'll look into it.

I know it is possible to get it to work. Before the daily modifications were in place, I had a daily schedule that restricted network access during part of the day set up through BOINC and a system timer set up to allow weekends. It ran on one computer and controlled all 6 at that location.
