I just got about 600 WUs from SETI - thanks to the powers that be!

But during the downloads, I got a pair of messages I had never seen before:

Fetching scheduler list
Master file download successful

Can someone please explain to me what these are about?
And: will the result of this affect my Optimized apps?
Thanks!

After about ten unsuccessful connection attempts, the client will download the homepage of a project, which contains the correct connection address(es) (scheduler list). When that's parsed succesfully, everything goes on as before, no harm done to your applications or tasks.

Just in case the reason for 'no work' or failed connections is that the project servers have been moved or re-configured. If you are getting work, no worries. If the client cant contact the sheduler after 10 tries it downloads the master list again, just to check it's still looking at the right address.

So the admins could change the servers around, and everyone would find it again after a few hours.

Thanks for the info...when you say "change the servers around" do you mean "change the IP address", or what?

Actually, changing the name(s), not just the IP addresses.
