I see 6.10.0 is released as a 'Development version' and I have scanned posted about it and have seen a fair amount of bugs to be worked out, which I am sure will happen over time :) Does that version support ATI GPU's for crunching? I remember reading that the '.10' version would, but just wondering if that is true. Yes, I know CUDA is Nvidia, but just was asking here because I want to take advantage of my ATI card in my other system. Thanks! |

Yes, BOINC 6.10.x supports ATI GPUs, but there's no SETI application (yet). Gruß, Gundolf Computer sind nicht alles im Leben. (Kleiner Scherz) SETI@home classic workunits 3,758 SETI@home classic CPU time 66,520 hours |

Yes, BOINC 6.10.x supports ATI GPUs, but there's no SETI application (yet). Well that's the question. BOINC 6.6.36 supports ATI GPUs too but there's no SETI application. The question is, when will there be SETI support on ATI GPUs? ARE you saying 6.10.x adds support for ATI GPU crunching if the app supports it, while the current version BOINC doesn't support it on anything? |
