Probably bad concrete, contrarily to the Roman concrete which still stands because it used seawater.I have seen a Roman aqueduct near Trieste, still perfect.

The Giro was won by Dutch Anna van der Breggen, Olympic champion, with Elisa Longo Borghini second. The last stage ending in Torre del Greco has been won by Megan Guarnier, USA. But nobody cares about the girls. The TV coverage is short and delayed, no sponsors.
