Can we listen to the signal as we decode it? I remember in the movie Contact that there was an audible aspect to the data. Is there any way to allow us to hear what we are decoding?

Most of the data would sound just like the static between radio stations. Most of the rest of the signals are from earthly sources.

That is one scene in the movie Contact that just does not work in real life.
