I would like to see a Linux client that actually funtions. All I have gotten from boinc in the August - October 2004 period is:

\typical output
2004-10-11 16:55:35 [SETI@home] Deferring communication with project for 1 weeks, 1 days, 22 hours, 33 minutes, and 3 seconds.
\end typical output

I have no time restrictions in my pref's, and am unable to download any WU's with any of the V4.X Linux clients.
I can only guess that it is too difficult a task...

Pascal, if you can't offer a useful comment, try keeping it to yourself.

Jim, the Linux CLI client works just fine. Something to consider is that you may have attached to the project slightly "off the mark". Did you add a trailing slash to the project URL? If so, that could be the issue. The project URL for S@H is just http://setiathome.berkeley.edu. Adding the trailing slash has caused people trouble in the past.

If I were you, I'd detach from S@H on your Linux box(es), upgrade to the 4.12 core client and then reattach with the appropriate URL and project ID. That should get you going again.
