Is there any way to temporarily divert crunch time away from Seti while they are working out the current bugs. I really would prefer not to have to detach or reset Seti and dump the WU on my system now, but at the moment I seem to be wasting cycles that could better be used by LHC and CPDN. I don't think so Seeker, there is a Suspend Feature but that would just stop all the Projects your attached to...Other than Detaching from the particular Project you want to stop I see no way of doing it at this time ... |

You may go to your preferences and set your seti@home preferences to 1 (instead of 100) while other projects take 100 or more. After doing this, update your project. |

You can control which projects you devote you time to, by changing the resource share for each project. The default value for each project is 100 (not percent). So by changing SETI resource share to 1 and leaving LHC and CPDN project at 100, you would get the following shares: LHC: 49,75 % (100 out of 201) CPDN: 49,75 % (100 out of 201) SETI: 0,50 % (1 out of 201). For more information about resource shares read the FAQ. The share will not change until each project have been contacted for new work. |

I've set my resource share to 10 at the moment so any work I get from LHC or Pirates will be completed entirely before switching to Seti. You might even go as low as 1. After updating Seti from Boinc program it may take awhile for the preference to start working. |

Thank you all for the prompt replies. I did change the preferences to 100, 300, 300 but I guess that was not a large enough difference to be noticeable over a short period of time. I'll try to reduce Seti to an even smaller number. Boinc V7.2.42 Win7 i5 3.33G 4GB, GTX470 |

Thanks again. I now have Seti 1, LHC 300 and CPDN 300. It now appears that Seti is being ignored. Now I just hope I don't run out of LHC, since I've only been able to pick up 1 WU in the last two days and am sure to run out tonight. Boinc V7.2.42 Win7 i5 3.33G 4GB, GTX470 |

I just got 5 new LHC WU's. 98SE XP2500+ @ 2.1 GHz Boinc v5.8.8 And God said"Let there be light."But then the program crashed because he was trying to access the 'light' property of a NULL universe pointer. |
