Hi - I have purchased a home recently and I have found a 20-foot analog satellite dish on the property still installed on the grounds. After further investigation and a little repair work, I have now a working IR remote and refurbished the actuator for the dish with cables running to the main house. I've search online and not found any significant info for some type of conversion kit to add to seti (data collection for a needed area rather than data processing...). Does anyone have any links or info for conversion kits for a large analog satellite dish? I'm a fan of seti and after finding the dish I'd like to put it to work and contribute if it could be used. I read about this years ago so hopefully someone will be able to better direct me.

Cheers,
Phil

I have no links to help you; perhaps searching on Google would be most helpful.

SETI@Home does not use satellite dishes other than the Arecibo; dishes provided by individuals are not used. Besides, I'm sure 20 feet is far to small for SETI@Home to use.
