your 6600 will be able to run the ssse3 and/or sse4.1 which does make it a bit faster than the sse3. all told on my old phenom 9500 2.1ghz I could get 4 WU's done a day using the SSE3. my phenom II 940 can do 4 AP WU's every 16 hours or so

OK, given the Q6600 will be somewhat faster than the AMD Phenom(tm) 9950 Quad-Core due to the lack of ssse3 on the AMD.

Since the Q6600 can do one AP WU per core per 30-days at 2% duty cycle, the AMD would have to be running at 4% (SSSE3 is twice as fast as SSE3) or 10% (SSSE3 is 5 times as fast as SSE3) or maybe even 20% (SSSE3 is 10 times as fast as SSE3).

Exactly how much faster is SSSE3 over SSE3?
