So IOWs, the status message and Granted Credit on the WU Summary are wrong.

It should still be saying (in the current lexicon), "Completed, waiting for validation" and "Pending" respectively.

Picking another nit, since we're at it, the error state for the WU currently is not "Too many errors", at best it's "WU error limit reached". It needs one more to be too many.

"Aborted by user" is counted as an error, so there are 6 error cases as needed for "Too many errors" on the WU.

The VALIDATE_STATE_NO_CHECK is specifically set by the Transitioner, that change was made in December 2004 and I'd hate to try to ferret out exactly why. But I agree that with a possible validation to come the current task status indication isn't good. The Transitioner code should probably check if there's another task in progress, before changing that validate_state.
