I believe his son is in the Radio business as well. I always enjoyed how he told A story about A person, subject and A event.

I've heard his son's broadcasts; he has (almost, but not quite) the same delivery as his dad and nearly the same voice.

What a loss. His broadcasting was a favorite of my parents(now deceased), and I also loved his honesty, down to earth style and his distinctive delivery. He was a staple in our home.
