Happy New Year to those who have celebrated it, and winning with more snow and cold temps...

A very chilly Kitty New Year's day to be sure.....
And more snow in the forecast for tomorrow, and the day after, and the day after....
Sheesh....quite the winter we have going here....I don't like setting those kind of records....

Morning Mark. I thought that the kitties kept you warm. I know mine do. One sleeps next to my legs and other over my head.

Oh, they keep me warm....
If the house gets a bit chilly....all I have to do is see one of them looking up at me with their loving eyes, and the warmth in my soul takes care of the rest.

I usally get the fireplace going if the wife want's more heat. After all with the kitties and crunchers, my office stays plenty warm.

I only have a gas log fireplace, and the dog decided to put his nose on the glass when it was on...burnt the end of his nose, and then he started barking at the fire...and now with the boys, I don't even keep the pilot light lit...the glass was still too warm...

At midnight Monday and I walked outside the bat cave and watched about...seven minutes...of fireworks, and avoided the...seven thousand...people gathered at the waterfront watching the same fireworks. I consumed...seven glasses... of San Pellegrino. Finally, I will say bon nuit at nearly...seven minutes...past two in the morning. Goodnight all, I hope you enjoy your celebrations... :-7

Advantage of a real fire. If you get within 5 feet of it, you start to feel the heat. Within 2 feet it's hot. My dogs will not get any closer than about 5 feet. Now the kids on the other hand. They aren't as smart as the dog some times.

Andy,
I scan the whole thread and total the time that each poster was in the last position.
The posters are then ranked from longest time being last poster to the least.

Yup... well it is a Dell XPS running a C2D T9300 2.5Ghz. I've seen it at 91C before, and it's Thermal Specification is 105C.
