And also, aren't we doing this "supercomputing" right now? Testa is just better video card than my Geforce. 960 cores against 112, big deal. Where could be this 250 times speed improvement? It gives only 8.5x cores for 12x money.

For 1/3 the price of a single C1060, wait a couple weeks and then go out and buy one of the new GTX295 cards. Almost as many streaming processing units on that one card as the C1060 unit.

The 295 is basically a unified SLI card using two boards in a unified form factor. If you then run with two of them (still at 1/3 less cost than a single C1060), you are getting something like 960 streaming processors which would been seen by CUDA as 4 processors with 240 streaming processors each.

Running 2 or OMG, 3 GTX295's may require a small fusion reactor to generate enough electrical power ; > )

Power consumption is supposed to be pretty impressive (read w/ sarcasm) to say the least.
