Strangely, I've gotten an Astropulse WU although I disabled Astropulse in my preferences.
Why is this happening and do others have similar problems?

If so, I'm sorry, but I haven't found a thread about this problem.

Even though you have it set to not recieve AP in your preferences, if you have the setting "If no work for selected applications is available, accept work from other applications?" set to yes, and for whatever reason MB was not available, or an AP was next in line to go out, it is possible you could be assigned an AP.

Have you disabled Astropulse in all active venue preference sets?

OK, thanks.
It must be the "if no work available..." setting. I didn't think of that, but it's fine with me to recieve AP WUs if MB WUs are unavailable. I just didn't notice MB was unavailable at the time it fetched new WUs.

So, what happened to "no means no?"

LOL, No still means no, unless you have "accept work from other applications" set to yes, as well as disabling Astropulse in all active venue preference sets....All the no's have to be covered to really mean no.

That's like if you were my employee and I told you to work on Stack A but do not work on Stack B, but you ask me; "If I finish Stack A and you don't give me any more work, shall I start on Stack B anyway?" If I say "No" (which would be the second 'no'), then you will not touch Stack B, but if I say "Yes", then that means to work on Stack B if I have no more work of Stack A to do.

In other words, just like Byron said, you must de-select AstroPulse workunits and you must de-select the "If no work for selected application is available, accept work from other applications" also. That second question is basically asking "Do you want me to work on Stack B if you run out of Stack A?"

I hope that makes sense.
