And a hoot and 3 quarters goes to......
Patsy Montana........
I know y'all may not like my taste in music from time to time........

But please give a listen......

I could marry a gurl that could yodel softly into my ear like that...........

Uli........can you yodel?

This is not Patsy.......she is long gone......but a tribute....

Never tried it, Mark, it is an Alps thing. Must have to do with echo etc pp. Yodelling is not a soft thingy, done by modulating your vocal cords, at least that is how I perceive it. ( I can yodel perfect in my head ;))
Pluto will always be a planet to me.

I hate this video for it’s arrogance (he’d not make a block in my neighbourhood without having someone open his skull for him) but I like the song.

I just wish that they had taken the next step and built on it’s interesting underlying structure, wish they had made it more than grade-school simple.

Oh, well, anyway:

OK...a little something different.....

Whilst driving back the 120 miles or so from my Thanksgiving visit to my brother's house, I tuned in Wisconsin Public Radio and caught some wonderful Beethoven piano music.....
I had not heard this for years...Appassionata...

Some of the best Guitar I ever heard........Summertime Blues......Setzer..... That's a custom guitar he's playin', not his usual Gretsch......

It just rocks and rings at the same time.............what an axe.........beefy tone. Kick ass rockabilly...............

And he was havin' a great bit of fun with it.......there are a bunch of related tunes that he did in the same session as this........lotta fun......

How do you get a guitar with a bottom like that and still can sing???
