Does anyone have any idea when we may see
a gui, similar to the windows versions of
seti/boinc? can anyone point to some CVS
repositories when there are some beta progs.
to try? I just feel kind of slighted as a nix
user that we lack any "eye candy" at all

No malice intended

Joe

Below is a post by Rom Walton in another thread where he gives some clues about the upcoming new GUI, which will include Linux.

>"Sorry folks, I've just been writing code for the last few weeks.

I was pretty much just stuck in the routine of getting up in the working and writing code, or designing features, sometimes eat something in between, or go over to friends houses to watch movies or play games.

Writing the new GUI has been my only focus for the last two weeks and more than likely the next two.

Here is what a screenshot of the new GUI looks like on Windows:

The new UI should look the same on Solaris, Linux, and the Mac when completed."
