I accidently restarted the linux client with command line option "-attach_project". After escaping with CTRL-C and starting over, the client repeatedly tries to connect to a project with an empty url. I tried to remove the empty project from client_state*.xml", but that didn't help. Any suggestions how to get rid of this? "-detach_project" without parameters doesn't work... Regards Hans |

Just a guess here, but do you have an account_.xml file? If so, kill BOINC, delete the account_.xml file and then delete the associated section in client_state.xml. That should put things right. |

I had saved some account creation html pages to the boinc folder though, and their file names started with "account_" After moving these away, the problem disappeared :) Thanks, Hans |
