Thanks for sharing... your cabinets do look Vanilla...
Maybe even Baileys colour :) Yummmmmm...

I was mistaken when I offered to paint your kitchen,
it's quite lovely already... only thing missing is your coconut radio...

What is that I find on the counter top? Bombay Sapphire... I like mine with a twist of lime...

Yes, it seems hurricane IKE is on a direct path to my home...
Fortunately I'm ~80km inland so flooding from the storm surge won't be a
problem, but the winds expect to be ~160km/h when the center of the storm
passes through my city.

Moon did you design your cabinets? It looks like some of your work. They are great. I like that you have no wasted space, it is all utilized.

Hmm.. Im not sure what you mean exactly ;-) but i think i have to say no to that.. The cabinets i found after looking around with some kitchen cabinet fabrics..and I found that they could make this special "marble-paint" on the
fronts. So I ordered it so, in that colour. The only thing i can say i designed, was of course when i draw the house, i made the kitchen in the middle of the house, with drawing in the working-area with cabinets in the inner end of it, and the "wasted space" in the outer end of it - hehe.. The table is placed in front of 4 windows and a glass-door to the terasse,
and that door is used Way too much..maybe more than the front door ;-)

..i have another pic, not showing the door, nor much of the windows, but still.. ;-) Oh.. and I ment to paint that table.. its just one of the
things i never reached.. *sigh*. JD - will you do it? ;-D

btw..these days when everything shall be so minimalistic, this kitchen cabinest would probably become thrown away if anyone else should move in.. ;-) Im happy
that is not the case. Lol.

Moon that table is beautiful just the way it is. Nothing like the beauty of natural wood.

shows the joy about the work ;-)) Yes please, I want it
white.. thats about "almost" white.. NCS 0502-Y please. lol.

@ Eagle; I appreciate you like wood, but the thing is this;

11 years, 2 boys using knife and fork as much on the table as
on the food (at least for some years, lol) Also.. I have a
lot of other wooden around..but that is much darker than this,
and it just looks like it doesnt belong there.. so... paint
please ;-)

Now i have to go and eat dinner with the boys.. I made pancakes
with bacon and stuff today.. Its quite a while since we had
that..and the boys loves it..so i guess they`ll be happily
surprised ;-D cya guys........

Oh..and JD..dont get lost.. please turn yourself in at least
once each other hour.. hehehe.

Yes, I just had smokey bacon for breakfast... Yumm... Your boys know what is good ;-)

The sea water is beginning to cross over Galveston Island.
I'll post as long as we have electricity and cable modem has connection...

For now I'm going to the golf practice range with my son to hit some golf balls.
It's not too often I get to practice in 40km/h winds.

I fear all flights have been cancelled to/from Houston... so the paint will have to wait a few days :)
