So I meet the namesake of this fine establishment, tip of the ol' cowboy hat, Madame Moon. Just rode into town, thanks for the warm welcome...

Sorry to offend any herbivores in the bar, but here in Texas 3 of 4 food groups are BBQ Ribs, BBQ Brisket, and BBQ Chicken... everything else is lumped together as "trimmings", the stuff you'd get from a salad bar (mostly pickles, onions and jalapenos). Around back, the smoker is always fired up and there is always somethin' good on the grill.

Thanks for the Sangria... better make mine a double pour. I need something to stop this pounding in my head ;-)

Cheers,
JDWhale

Of Sangria you can have all you please.. So.. you've a hard time with head pounding? I wonder if its something that is usual for this date..as im suffering of the same today.. Im honestly not sure what would help ;-)
Nice to see you around Sir.. but now i have to move into RW for a moment. Cya.

I don't want to confooz ya here Moonskatt but China has a single time zone that spans more than 4 hours!
The real time difference between Copenhagen and you is about an hour but our watches and clocks show the same time!!

The Russians are more sensible, they have 9 time zones spanning 10 hours.
Now look at Australia! That's just confusing. Not easy to figure even when you are sober...hic

Have a Marguerita..

Hello one and all. I'm sorry to be the bearer of sad news.

I must thank you all for communicating with me over the past year through these boards & I genuinely enjoyed my time here.

Unfortunately, I feel that Seti@Home is a complete waste of time & effort. i have more important things to do with my rigs & time and feel that there are more worthwhile projects out there, much more worthy than Seti.

I am now going back to "that" particular politics thread & request directly that Dr Korpela close my account as I will not be returning.

Good luck & God Bless you all.

Regards

Pat

OH NO!

Another sad loss to our community. Is there any way that we can persuade you to not close your account so that you can pop into the bar from time to time and keep us appraised of your worthwhile doings Sir Ius?

Sorry Whiskey, as far as I'm concerned, it's not the upheavel that has caused my decision but the project itself. It's proved itself to be worthless. If you check my sig, you can see the other projects & they have cafes.

kind regards.

Pat

PS & Seti has a NERVE TO SET THE STANDARDS for other projects.........Jesus give me strength to suffer fools.

mmhh... ok.. as Franz of Assisi prayed:

"Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change,

the courage to change the things I can,

and the wisdom to know the difference. ;-)

Here is something I thought everyone might like.
This is an old building sitting in a field near here.

If you look close in the arch you can see someone has used it as a drinking establishment.
