About 50% of my WUs are failing to download.
Another Berkeley issue or am I the only one...

See Matt's latest daily post over in Technical News for a possible explanation (though even Matt is confused as to what's happening).

Yes, I read his post... but no mention of download issues... maybe the project problem is bigger than just the assimulators... or DB entries for work are made before work files are created. IDK, but I found that I'm not alone.

Hmm... for some reason I thought they were related issues. Maybe not?

Hey JD, are you wireless by chance? I had 5 rigs all on wireless that had the same problem, that was the only common denominator. I upgraded to a "N" router because I think I was most likely maxed out on signal strength with my "G" router and all is well since. Also I just today increased my additional work buffer from .5 to 2.5 days and all was OK on downloads on a few rigs.

Negative on these rigs... These are wired connections. I have a couple wireless, but they haven't DL any work today.

Problem seems to have corrected. Downloads flowing smoothly again. Except I reached my daily quota a bit early thanks to some failed downloads.
