OK, I have BOINC installed. I have joined a team with my friends. Problem is, I cant seem to work it. SETI@HOME was on for like 15 min, and it didnt record any data or give me credits. Help!

Were you worling on the computer? If you were, your preferences might not allow seti to work. Also, try to put more CPU power into the tasks, that will get tasks done faster.
P.S. Credits are awarded after the completed task is uploaded and processed.

The workunit you were working on ran for 36.53125 seconds and erred out due to being too noisy. This happens on a handful of workunits. Nothing to worry about.
