Made it to the top 2000 total credits for all BOINC, at least for a short while.

Moving to 11,000,000 any day now - holding steady with 100K + RAC, I lost a quad over the weekend the last of my 975X mobos - for the life of me I can't get it to run SETI for any length of time - even with no
OC. Box runs, cool and all, but locks up with the app. Time for a new mobo and move the Q6600 over...

In the past, when I have had hair pulling problems with a mobo not wanting to run properly even at stock, it has always come down to RAM...either bad timings/speed manually selected, the mobo using auto settings that are incompatible with the RAM or the NB, or RAM that the mobo just doesn't like anymore....usually trying a few other sticks of RAM has found something that works....

Otherwise....for upgrading, I still have found the P5K Deluxe or P5K3 Deluxe to be my most excellent perfomers...

And nice job on both the total credit and RAC!!!

Well, with the last update, I have hit a record RAC of 635.07 - This was not easy! Only topping my previous record by 2. I might be able to go for 650 if I pull really hard.

Congratulations on everyone elses milestones!

Luke.

Congrats Luke, and all others! When I was running only my small Compaq computer I remember how hard it can be to get around 635.

{edit} just out of curiosity, do you run the new V8 app?
Luke.

In time you will! And believe me, you will be overjoyed when you finally reach that first 100k!

Oh Yes, 100k will be grand! Although I can see myself having a Nehalem up and running by March 09. I can wish on.... 24" Dual Screens, Wireless Apple Keyboard, 4 GB DDR3 RAM (If compatible...) WISH ON LUKE!
Any chances for you of a new rig?

Oh I've always been a fan of Math. Only I wish I could count the amount of cat hairs I pick up with the vacuum every day!

You could always mark off even squares, say one foot square ares, count the number of cat hairs in that area, and then get a good approximation of how many hairs you pick up :)

Wow... A new record RAC of 707.86! That will possibly be the only time before 2009 that I have over 700 RAC.

If my estimates are correct, I'll be mixing EggNog in the blender and toasting my second Million with Santa. HO! HO!
