I just got a mac powerbook G4 and when I tried to transfer my bonic program from my old and broken down iBook it would not let me.
I a 1wu done on the old one and it will sone be ready to report but by then a nother wu will have started The thing is most of the time the thing won't run so it's going dead computer land will shuting it down while work is in progress cause problems for the project.

Try copying the BOINC Data folder (but not the BOINC Manager application bundle) to the new machine, then do a fresh installation of BOINC. It should recognize the existing folder, picking up your account information from there and resuming from the point that the old host left off.
