In my computer list "Klinger" as had 6 wu complete successfully and returned, but getting 0 credit. I even checked and saw that the result was not the last one turned in. I compared the results sent by my computer vs the other 2 and the results are the same in regards to what data was found in the WU...

Is anybody else having this problem?
Upon further inspection this is only affecting my AMD64 computer. It is not overclocked and is not overheating I am running Crunch3r's optimized seti and boinc apps. My host "Radar" uses 64bit Boinc and client as well.

Every task I look at showed that you were the last result in, but that really shouldn't matter as it is to my understanding that you still get credit for it even if its a tad late.

I'm not really sure what the problem is. Perhaps someone else here may know the answer...

The ones I looked at had the status Task was reported too late to validate. You were under no deadline pressure, so may be it was another case of a detached client?

Anyway, have a look through that thread and see what you make of it.

Well I detached that host then re-attached it and it started downloading a whole new mess of WU... now there are 100 or so in limbo.. i thought when you detach a host then re-attach it goes back and fetches the previously assigned WU???

Edit: ok it showed the old WU as detached now so they should be re-issued out. I put the Chicken App back on that host to see if it continues with the problem

No, that was "Reset project". But that feature has been shut down anyway by project administration a while ago for performance reasons, i think.

Unfortunately, Matt Lebofsky turned that feature off on 10 January - it was slowing the servers down too much.

I wonder if Matt has given any thought to turning that helpful feature back on now that the servers seem to be on a more even keel these days?

Does anybody know if the "feature" to cancel redundant results has recently been disabled? Would be beneficial for those of us with detached results and our wingmen... Hate to waste processor cycles.
