Hey guys, is this reference the Knight Rider film? Not a movie (US translation for "film" :), rather Knight Rider(2008) is TV series that broadcast it's debut episode a week ago past Sunday. Next generation of Knight Rider(1982) a popular TV show from the '80s. OC'd US muscle cars on steroids:) Woohoo!!! [edit] FYI: 28 September 1982, was 3 months over 11 blue moons ago :) [/edit] |

Cool. I used to love the old Knight Rider series. Hope they have got the new series right. Look forward to that making it's (slow) way over here :) Thanks for the info. Not to give too much away, but just enough to keep you drooling. Knight Industries Three Thousand(KITT) comes in the form of a Limited Edition Ford Shelby GT 500 KR. A beautiful car, though goes a bit away from my "green" roots. Maybe not if you only drive it on special occasions like Saturdays up to the public park for a Tender Loving Hand Wax Job, or to go watch Friday night drag races. ;-) |

What is everybodies thought on the use of a different voice for kit? My name is Maximus Decimus Meridius, Commander of the Armies of the North, General of the Felix Legions. |

What is everybodies thought on the use of a different voice for kit? I think it was a bad idea, but then again, maybe they wanted to try something new. I would prefer the old voice back, but that is not going to happen... |

What is everybodies thought on the use of a different voice for kit? Personally, I like Val Kilmers voice. Seems not quite as "robotic" as William Daniels was. Maybe a reflection on technological advances in the 25 years of elapsed time. Also, the new KITT seems to be better programmed for emotional response. |

What is everybodies thought on the use of a different voice for kit? But that was what I liked about it, he was not quite human and always had a mechanical point of view but he always came to the rescue right in time. |

I think KITT and Mike Traceur will meet up with Danny McCoy and the gang from the show "Las Vegas", did anyone notice that it was at the "Montecito Casino" that Mike was playing poker in episode 1? Moreover, I predict that Mike & Danny know each other from the Iraq war. Future episode prediction... Synopsis: Something cataclysmic happens to KITT and he goes berzerk, Danny McCoy comes to the rescue in his ultra cool classic yellow Camaro convertable... and Mike Cannon toubleshoots KITT and does an emergency BIOS reset (similar to brain surgery) to return KITT to normalcy. That is, if you call KITT normal ;-) Did episode 2 already air? Please don't tell me that I hit the nail on the head with my prediction! STOP the PRESS...I just read that "Las Vegas" has been cancelled :( But what an episode that could have been. |

was wondering if anyone watched it on the 17th.... one thing i noticed was the suv chase, why didnt kitt just take off and leave it in the dust? To answer your question: Kitts computer was being hacked and they had to shut it down wihich in turn shut down the Nano's so they only had 10 seconds to boot Kitt up before it would be taken over....so not to spoil anything for others P.M. me and I'll fill you in. |

The new voice is too human for my taste. Also, Using a Mustang instead of a Pontiac. My name is Maximus Decimus Meridius, Commander of the Armies of the North, General of the Felix Legions. |
