Independent Presidential Candidate Brad Lord-Leutwyler is a long-time SETI supporter and Seti@Home participant. He has several million people backing him, and he has yet to waste a SINGLE DIME on his campaign. He is NEW AND DIFFERENT because he uses the internet EXCLUSIVELY to campaign, he responds to all questions personally and he is actually SMART, and opposed to simply politically savy. This ought to be interesting... ;) (I smell 'prophesy' in the air.) It may not be 1984 but George Orwell sure did see the future . . . |

Well BRAD This fellow BRAD Lord-Leutwyler must be one hell of a speed typist to have answered millions of questions personally. Good luck. Were I an American, I'd be backing Ralph Nader for another run at it. |

Well, interesting news indeed. But even the strongest SETI enthusiasts shouldn't vote their president (especially the president of the US) based on his attitude towards SETI. SETI IS important, but in not THAT important anyway. And yeah - sounds quite odd, if he claims, he'd respond to every email. A bit like North Korea's eternal president Kim Il Sung, who is said to have written several books each day. Best regards Jens |
